Huge thank you to Astronaut Mike Mullane for sharing his experience in NASA, and inside insights on the 1986 explosion of the Challenger. Mike shared about the "normalization of deviance:" a slow, slippery slope where normalizing safety shortcuts will eventually lead to catastrophic events.

Whether we're flying rockets or on a construction site, the reality is the same: safety procedures are "written in blood." They exist because someone was already hurt or killed. Let's continue to protect the industry by prioritizing safety each and every day.
